The Final Display.

This is the final outcome. I’m happy with how it have turned out and can see a lot of meaning behind the work. the order may change due to last minute checks and cleaning but that the final display that I will show. I decided that its best to have Corbyn in the middle because it is the most powerful one with the colour of his background the  meaning behind the work made around him. I didn’t place them in a podium design but I have placed them the side that a podium is order( 3rd is on the left, 2nd is on the right and in the middle in the 1st place. I used that because I like the idea of them podium but not the look. so the simplicity will help it just focus on the expression on the facial and hopefully create some humour with the viewer.

Orders of the photos

the order of the photo will have no impact to the work. so I’m not going to look into that as I feel like that work doesn’t need to be ordered. they are formal enough with the layout of the work. The order will be random and will have not thought put into it

The order in which the work will be displayed.

For the layout of the work I wanted to have it 2X15 across the wall. That would of made it perfect with all 30 paintings used. The wall wasn’t long enough for that the I had to use my back up which was the 3×9. that made 27 portraits used. which in the end was the better idea from the beginning because a few of the portraits were not as powerful as others and I could cancels out the weaker links. the other idea I need to decide was to have the podium idea I had, were there was a 1st, 2nd and 3rd like a podium to show who was leading in my opinion, but that was to much going on and decided against that idea and stuck with the simplicity of the 3×9 (top left)

Frame or No

The question is do I have the glass in the frame or not? I think they both good and bad parts about having the glass or not. If I have the glass, there will be a glare of it when the sun shines on it. but it looks more professional and hide some of the blemishes. on the other had having no glass will have no glare but doesn’t look as formal. I think I want it to be more formal than being able to see the texture oh the paint.

 

Final Design and outcome of Nigel Farage

So for these final outcome I had to create a purple the represents the Ukip colour. that task was to find the right purple not to dark not to blue or red and not pastel like . The colour outcome was perfect. I couldn’t be happier with it. Also purple is quiet a childish colour. It highlights his inner child. The textures are perfect as well looks like a legit photography back drop. the portraits I have chosen also show what I think of him as well. That he is immature and a drunk which shows that his not fit to make decision on the current affair.

Theresa May Final Designs

These are the final outcome of the portraits of Theresa May. They turn out like expected and there is a very powerful message. She doesn’t look appealing and this demonstrates my thought about her. The humour also helps create my point about how she isn’t fit to lead this country.

Final Outcome Corbyn

These portraits of Jeremey Corbyn have could out well, this is because of all the portraits look like him and show him in a good light. he look serious and confident. The red is every striking and pushes him out compared to the others. its a very powerful colour which show that he is very powerful. The textures are like what I want, like a Back drop you get for portraits photos. these come out well and will have a very big impact as a piece of art work.

Graffiti and Vandalism

So I have been looking at graffiti in my work but I feel like that its not effective. the work I’m making is stuff that has already been done. I want to create something that people can relate to rather than see something that people are doing already. Something I may do thought is vandalism. So for the paintings I have done maybe a few of them will have some vandalism on them to show my thoughts a bit better. This is something I will experiment with .

Order #1

This a first look at what sort of order I want to display the portraits like. The first idea is to have them in 6X5 with 2 lines from left to right of one MP then another and another.(like the image on the left) to add to that idea I could place them like a podium. so Nigel would be 3rd, may would be 2nd and Corby Would be first to demonstrate who I think is better.  The other idea is to have the like the image on the right. where I would have The person I like at the top then the next person underneath would be some I didn’t like and then the person at the bottom is someone I hate. So the order in the photo is what I would show.

The Final Designs

These are what the final painting  look like. These all have a similar skin tone/ colours, but all have a little variation and also imperfections to show they are all unique and are paint. I wanted this to show that time and effort have been put into the work.
